<<<   At the warehouse, there was a large Bible-filled backpack that someone unsuccessfully had tried to smuggle into Hades prior to my arrival.

Since Bible-filled bags should be carried again until they pass but nobody could carry this one, it had been sitting on the floor. I put on the Bible-filled backpack to try it out and found that I couldn't carry it either.

So I put the Bible-filled backpack inside an even larger wheeled suitcase, prayed some more, and headed for the Hades border, praying with my eyes open and listening to worship songs on my iPod.

I claimed God's authority over the border and asked Him to grant passage of His Holy Word. Peter began to sink when he took his eyes off Jesus to look at the waves. I asked God to help me keep my focus locked onto Christ, not the Hades border guards or the scanner, and asked Him to guide me as I approached it.

Just before entering the Hades immigration hall, I shut off my iPod, put it away, and joined the queue, continuing to pray. When I was the third person in line to the immigration counter, beyond which is the Hades customs, I had a sudden feeling that I should put the bag into the scanner. It wasn't a jolt. It was a quiet but distinct desire and peace about putting it into the machine.

Upon entering the Hades customs areas, I bee-lined for and put my bag into the scanner, and then quoted aloud, "Seeing you will see and not perceive." (Matthew 13:14). Even before the bag exited the scanner, I had a sense that the Lord would grant passage. As I wheeled the bag toward the exit, I saw 3 Hades guards staring into the scanner monitor but none of them moved a muscle, let alone call me. They almost seemed frozen in time.

The trip to unload the Bibles at the safehouse was made on cloud nine. I thanked and praised God not only for granting passage of the Bibles into Hades again but also  >>>
