Entering Hades  [First Page - Previous]

<<<  a Hades official who spoke excellent English, who acknowledged that Hades Constitution guarantees the freedom of religion, but dismissed it by saying, "But freedom of religion is relative." I reminded him that the Hades Constitution talks of "freedom of religion", not "relative" freedom of religion, to which he replied, "But as you know, nothing is absolute."

The tone of the Hades official conveyed that he was going to keep my Bibles from entering Hades regardless of the acrobatics in logic he'd have to perform (he had to, since if he didn't, he couldn't keep my Bibles from entering Hades).

Hearing that I wouldn't contest his confiscation of my Bibles anymore seemed acceptable to him and he asked me to pass the phone back to the female guard. I asked if I could ask him a final question. He said   >>>
